Yeah, I hurt you. The ring thing was unintentional. I knew you'd want your ring back and I didn't want to ruin YOUR day by reminding you of what we had and giving you back your ring. Truth, I should have waited. But I was in town and I wanted you to have your grandmother's ring back asap. I didn't want to keep it, not because I was that eager to get away from you but because I don't deserve it.

You were terrified of losing me. In the end, that's what lost me. You were so afraid of letting me go that you clung to me and clung to me and clung to me. You asked me time and time again to marry you. Why do you think I kept saying no? It certainly wasn't because I didn't love you. And in case you're wondering, no, I never lied to you.
